The RSA Story
The
factory was originally owned by the Royal Ordnance.
This
Royal Small Arms site was famous for
over 170 years as a centre of
excellence for manufacturing firearms.
The
Enfield Lock site was a
vibrant community of families who were both working at the factory and mainly living locally.
Buildings on
site also included a:
- church (the original font is displayed in the central courtyard at the Centre)
- police station
- school
